How to create an AI influencer in 2026, step by step
To create an AI influencer, you design one original face, turn it into a dataset of about 50 images of her, train a character LoRA so a model can draw her on demand, and post her with the AI label on. You do it in your browser on GPUs rented by the hour, from about $0.74 an hour. Her face takes minutes, the LoRA an afternoon, the audience months.

What is an AI influencer, really?
A character, not a filter. An AI influencer is an original person who doesn’t exist, with one face that stays the same in every photo, a niche, and a posting rhythm like any creator. The face is the asset everything else runs on. On this site she’s always original and always disclosed as AI.
Two rules hold for every step below:
- Original only. Never a real person’s face or photos, never a face swap of someone real.
- Always disclosed. Instagram has an “AI-generated profile” label, and Fanvue requires an AI note in the bio, captions or a watermark.
What do you need before you start?
A normal laptop, a browser, a RunPod account with a few dollars of credit, and a free Skool account for the workflows. No graphics card, no coding, no Hugging Face account. The heavy work runs on a rented GPU, and the tools (ComfyUI and AI Toolkit) run in browser tabs.
Every tool we use, free and paid, is in the AI influencer tools we use at each step.
How do you create an AI influencer, step by step?
Four steps take you from nothing to a character you can generate on demand. Each one is a free video in the AI Empire series. The first starts free in our Discord; the other three run on a rented GPU.
- Make her face. Generate portraits from a text prompt until one face is right. The free Discord generator gives you 10 a day and uses Z-Image Turbo. For no daily limit, run the same kind of generator on your own RunPod GPU.
- Turn one face into a dataset. A model can’t learn a face from one photo. You make about 50 images of her: different angles, outfits, places and light, the same face in all of them, each with a caption. See how many images a LoRA needs and how to caption them.
- Train her character LoRA in AI Toolkit. You compare the saved checkpoints and keep the one that looks most like her. The file is yours.
- Generate her on demand. Load the LoRA, start every prompt with her trigger word and a short hair-and-eyes line, then describe the scene. Never her face shape or body. Video 4 of the series builds a private Telegram bot that does this from your phone.

How much does it cost to create an AI influencer?
Her first faces are free, the course’s first two phases are free, and the rest is GPU time you rent by the hour. The cards we use cost about $0.74 to $2.09 an hour on RunPod’s secure cloud as of October 2026, and community cloud is cheaper. You pay only while the pod runs.
| Item | Cost (October 2026) |
|---|---|
| First faces in the Discord generator | Free, 10 a day |
| RunPod RTX 4090 (24 GB) | about $0.74 an hour |
| RunPod RTX 5090 (32 GB) | about $0.99 an hour |
| RunPod RTX PRO 6000 (96 GB) | about $2.09 an hour |
| AI Empire Phases 1 and 2 | Free |
When you’re done, stop the pod and then terminate it. A stopped pod still bills for its storage. Our RunPod guide has the full breakdown.
How do you keep her face the same?
With the character LoRA from step 3. Reference-image tools hold a face for a few shots, then small details wander. A LoRA trained on 50 images of her holds it for hundreds, in any outfit, place or light, because it learned her face from every angle instead of copying one photo.
Then prompt her with the trigger word and a short hair-and-eyes line, and leave her face shape and body out: the LoRA already knows them. More in how to keep your AI character’s face the same.

The free AI influencer prompt generator writes prompts in the format a character LoRA expects.
How do you post her without losing the account?
Label her as AI, post like a person, and grow slowly. On Instagram, turn on the “AI-generated profile” label, post from your phone, and keep the first weeks simple. Instagram started limiting the reach of unlabelled AI personas on 31 August 2026. The AI influencer rules guide covers Instagram, TikTok, Fanvue and the law.
The course’s growth phase teaches a 3-account Instagram system, Threads and TikTok. The short version:
- Warm up first. Simple bio, link in bio only after 7 days of activity, 10 to 20 minutes a day of natural scrolling.
- Post like a phone, not a studio. Everyday places, phone-camera photos. Professional-looking portraits read as fake.
- Keep a steady rhythm. A reel and a carousel every 2 days, stories daily.
How does an AI influencer make money?
Slowly, and from a few places. Fanvue subscriptions are the main one, because Fanvue openly allows disclosed AI creators while OnlyFans needs a verified human behind every account. Then AI UGC for brands, and brand posts once she has an audience. Most earn little at first. Details in making money with an AI influencer and AI OnlyFans vs Fanvue.
What can go wrong?
- Her face drifts. You skipped the LoRA and relied on reference images. Train the LoRA.
- The LoRA looks plastic or copies backgrounds. You kept a checkpoint that trained too long. Go back 500 steps.
- The bill keeps running. You stopped the pod but didn’t terminate it.
- The account gets limited. The AI label is off, or you posted too much too fast in week one.
- She looks like a real person. Change her. An original character must not resemble anyone real.
